How do I care for the pearls I buy?AllNaturalStuff.com sells only the highest quality pearl products. And we stand behind the quality of the merchandise that we offer. However, it is very important to read the how to take care pearl information. AllNaturalStuff.com cannot be responsible for results of damage by the consumer in cleaning the pearls. Pearls are a chemical and organic gem and require more specialized care. They deteriorate in contact with chemicals like perfumes, cosmetics and hair care products of all kinds. The surface of a pearl is soft and can be easily damaged. A good rule is the pearls are the last thing put on and the first thing to take off. Pearl strands should be stored flat rather than hung to avoid premature stretching of the thread. 12. What is the different between a cultured pearl and natural pearl? Cultured and natural pearls are both real pearls, and they are both formed within the oyster or mussel. There are no visible differences. The only difference is in the way they get start. With cultured pearls, a particle is inserted into the oyster or mussel by human beings. With natural pearls, a particle gets inside the oyster or mussel by accident. 13. What are difference between saltwater pearls and freshwater pearls? Saltwater pearls are from the oyster family in the large tropical or semi-tropical oysters in ocean. Most of them are round. The luster of saltwater pearls is very special. Asian medicine also believes that saltwater pearls are beneficial to human body. Freshwater pearls are from the mussel family and can be found in fresh water like rivers, lakes and ponds. Freshwater pearls are usually smaller, from potato shape to semi-round shape. They are less expensive than saltwater pearls. Freshwater pearls are highly affordable pearls in jewelry designing. 14. What determines a pearl's value? Size: Larger pearls are more valuable than smaller pearls. 15. Do you have other brand saltwater pearls? There are so many different types of saltwater pearls. Most of saltwater pearls we have are Akoya pearls. All our natural saltwater pearls are guaranteed very high quality because the quality is our main key in this very competitive pearl market. We are very confident on all of our products. Customer satisfaction is our desire. 16. What is the fastest way to receive your order? Please use your workplace address as shipping address. Some items we will restock them very soon. Keep checking with our website. 18. Why don't you put a grade for your pearls? There is no standard for grading pearls. Every vendor has his/her own standard for pearls because each pearl has its own distinct. Pearls have been bought and sold for thousands of years, but there still is no widely accepted standardized grading system, though individual vendors may use their own judgment. AAA grade pearls for one vendor might be A grade or B grade pearls for the others. There are no two pearls are ever alike, such a grading system would require hundreds of quality parameters. We do not grade our pearls as other stores do. However, the quality of our pearls is 100% guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you will get your money back after you return the item. No hassle at all. 19. Do you provide pearl-stringing service? Yes, we do.
